Earning Points Towards World Floor Curling™ Rankings
- World Floor Curling™ (WFC) Ranking Points are earned on an individual basis.
- Each player on the team will be awarded the applicable WFC™ points based on their final result.
- Players can gain points through playing in WFC™-sanctioned events and leagues.
- In order to earn WFC™ Ranking Points, athletes must participate in every end of every game.*
- Athletes must be in good standing with WFC™ in order to earn points.
- To be in good standing, your annual WFC™ dues must be paid, and you must have successfully completed the online WFC™ Rules of Play course.
*Exceptions may apply for extenuating circumstances and are at the discretion of the Event Organizer. League substitutions are at the discretion of the Event Organizer.

Event Rules
- For tiered events to count towards WFC™ points, the event must be registered with the WFC™ Rankings prior to the WFC™ registration deadline and not less than 30 days prior to the start of the event.
- In events where a pay-per-win format is utilized, a maximum of 30% of the event purse may be allocated to the pay-per-win proceeds of the event. At least 70% of the event purse must be paid to the event qualifiers (teams who have qualified for the playoffs).
- For sanctioned Leagues awarding Ranking Points, there must be a playoff to determine final rankings.
- Teams that do not qualify for playoffs and therefore earn points-per-win shall not exceed the lowest awarded playoff point amount, meaning all non-playoff per-win points will be capped at 6 wins.

Event Base Points Adjustment
- If there is no 3rd place game in any event, points earned for 3rd and 4th place will be averaged for the two semi-finalists.
Strength of Field Multiplier
- Strength of field is determined by the field of players/teams in an event and their world rankings at the time of the event.
- Strength of field multiplier (SFM) uses the combined total of all teams playing in any one specific event based on their individual rankings and compares this against another event of similar scope.
- For the purposes of the 2025 season, all events regardless of tier and size of field sanctioned by World Floor Curling will be given a SFM factor of 1.0.
- World Floor Curling will review the SFM factor at such time as the number of events and rankings of individuals/teams creates a differentiation amongst fields of play and type of event and publish same for use in future events.
